Production Around The Globe

As a young documentary filmmaker, David produced “A Road out of Snow,” chronicling the epic annual clearing of the Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park. In the intervening decades, David’s work as a filmmaker has led him around the world on film jobs of every kind imaginable. The first ever filming of the spectacled eider on its wintering habitat on the frozen Arctic Ocean, doctors taking an arterial blood sample near the frigid summit of Mount Everest, saprophytes deep in the Oregon forest, cows in Texas, grizzly bears in Montana, the blue gray gnatcatcher disassembling its nest in New Mexico, following on the heels of police with guns drawn as they storm a drug dealer’s house, moose on the traffic filled streets of Anchorage -- these are but a few interesting scenes which have flashed through the viewfinder on David’s camera.
